Coaching Announcement

The Maple Ridge Burrards Junior Lacrosse Club is excited to announce the 2021 Coaching Staff for the Tier 1 team.

Head Coach – Justin Doucette

 The Maple Ridge Burrards Junior Lacrosse Team is excited to announce that Justin Doucette is the New Head Coach of the Tier 1 lacrosse team. Coach Doucette’s leadership and experience will bring success to our program. Never one to shy away from the tough spots on the floor, after a year away,  Coach Doucette is excited to get back too playing lacrosse and having a successful 2021 season.

 Assistant Coach – Anthony Kalinich

Anthony Kalinich, homegrown defensive stalwart with great leadership skills will be Assistant Coach behind Coach Doucette. Proven at every level, Coach Kalinich is excited to be on the bench molding the Maple Ridge Junior Burrards lacrosse team.

Assistant Coach – Mackenzie Rope

Mackenzie played his minor lacrosse in Maple Ridge including Intermediate A. He was drafted by the Delta Islanders and then finished his Jr A career with the Langley Thunder. He received a scholarship to Stoneybrook University in New York. He was drafted by the Burnaby Lakers in the WLA. He is now perusing his career at Simon Fraser University.
